Spicy Roasted Chickpea Snack

1 can chickpeas
15 ounces, rinsed and drained
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp regular or smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne
This jazzed up snack is perfect for when those “salty-crispy” yearnings hit.

Place a rimmed baking sheet in the oven and set temperature to 400°F.

Place chickpeas in a medium bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Add the salt and spices and toss until they are evenly coated.

Pour chickpeas onto hot pan and roast for 20 minutes.

Shake pan and return it to the oven for another 10-15 minutes or until chickpeas are crisp and slightly browned.
