1 | Place the dates in a dry blender and chop coarsely |
2 | Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil |
3 | Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring frequently for 1 hour |
4 | Cool to room temperature, put in blender and blend until smooth |
5 | Store in refrigerator, heat slightly before using on anything you are serving hot. |
6 | Makes approximately 1.75 cups. |
